Tuesday, June 5th at 1 pm Presenter, Youth and Science - Making the Connection Extreme VR Science Fair Andrew Dasys Start-Up Director, MIRARCO (The Mining Innovation, Rehabilitation and Applied Research Corporation) Project Manager, Northern Advanced Visualization Network President, Objectivity Consulting Andrew Dasys is a mining engineer who has spent many years adapting and implementing technology for the mining industry. He began his professional career with the Noranda Technology Centre leading the development of underground automation systems, has worked for software start-ups and has worked internationally with some of the worlds leading mining companies. Currently he is a principal in Objectivity, a technology implementation consultancy and is the Start-Up Director at MIRARCO Mining Innovation where he is responsible for the promotion and adoption of Virtual Reality technologies in exploration and mining. |
