Dr. David Topps
Director, e-Learning
Northern Ontario School of Medicine
Dr. David Topps has been the Director of e-Learning at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine since 2005. Based in Sudbury, Dr. Topps travels, virtually and regularly, to Thunder Bay and many other sites. Previously, he spent ten years with the Department of Family Medicine in Calgary as the Rural Program Coordinator. Dr. Topps has been working and researching in medical informatics and educational technology since 1986, with experience in information systems, database design, communications technology, and has a special interest in mobile devices which he has been working with since 1989.
