Tuesday, June 5th at 1 pm Session Chair, Answering the Call for Applied Research  Gregory J. Weiler Dean of Applied Research, Innovation and University Partnerships Fanshawe College Since March 2005, Gregory J. Weiler has served as Dean of Applied Research, Innovation and University Partnerships at Fanshawe College. Prior to this appointment, he held the position of Director of Research Development at The University of Western Ontario since 1998. From 1995 to 1998, Greg was with Life Imaging Systems Inc., where he served as the company's Chief Operating and Financial Officer. Involved with this London company from its inception, Greg was the principal author of its business plan and was instrumental in arranging over $10 million in equity financing. Greg has also worked as a consultant, assisting in the start-up of two biotech companies, and earlier in his career he served as a senior executive at London Health Sciences Centre. Greg holds an MBA with distinction from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western, and a B.Sc. in computer science. |
