Monday, June 4th at 3 pm Introduction, MaRS Discovery District - Demonstration of Advanced Collaborative Technologies Peter Evans Venture Group Advisor MaRS Discovery District Peter Evans advises entrepreneurs and high growth companies in ICT markets, specializing in corporate strategic planning, marketing and channel development. Peter brings to MaRS over 15 years of experience working in venture-backed technology start-ups and publicly traded companies in the software, Internet services, online media and telecommunication sectors. Previously, Peter worked in major accounts sales, product management, research and senior marketing roles at Call-Net, Bell Canada, MediaLinx/Sympatico, FloNetwork (acquired by DoubleClick in 2001), PlateSpin Inc. and DCCI Inc. Peter serves on the board of directors of Sitebrand in Ottawa and the Toronto Venture Group. He is also a member of the Toronto Angel Group. Peter is a noted speaker on various technology and business-to-business marketing trends and best practices. He was educated in cognitive psychology and telecommunications management at the University of Toronto and Ryerson and also holds an MBA from Queen’s University. |
