Trish Dryden
Director, Applied Research Centre
Centennial College
Trish Dryden is Director of the Applied Research Centre at Centennial College, a large urban multicultural community college in Toronto. As a researcher and educator, Trish is a national leader in evidence-based complementary and alternative health care (CAHC) research and in interprofessional education and evaluation.
Her current research includes the development and evaluation of an interprofessional undergraduate curriculum (medicine, nursing, allied health, first responders) in disaster and emergency preparedness (IDEAS Network) using web-based instructional design and high fidelity simulation, and the creation and evaluation of an open access database for complementary and alternative health care outcomes research instruments. Her current clinical research includes a national study on parent-delivered massage in pediatric oncology. Trish lectures and conducts workshops internationally.
Trish received her Masters degree in Adult Education from the University of Toronto in 1993 and her massage therapy diploma from Sutherland-Chan School and Teaching Clinic in 1981.
