Early-bird registration ends soon
Showcase your education or research innovation to over 1,500 research and commercialization leaders and innovators at Discovery 09.
ORION invites researchers and educators from Ontario postsecondary and research institutions to showcase at the Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) Discovery 09 conference, May 11 and 12 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
Canada's largest innovation event brings together researchers, private industry, government stakeholders and investors to pursue opportunities for collaboration.
ORION anticipates significant participation from its member institutions, including universities, colleges, research institutions and others.
ORION itself will showcase innovative and collaborative technologies made possible by advanced networks like ORION and CANARIE, Canada's advanced network organization.
ORION is partnering with OCE to help present the annual conference as exclusive host of the Digital Zone, a space that includes exhibitor booths and networking area where four informal roundtable discussions will take place.
ORION invites its member institutions and partners to showcase their leading-edge innovations in the high profile Digital Zone.
This year's theme is "Future Ready: Innovation for a Global Marketplace," profiling successes and emerging trends through panel discussions and provocative keynote speakers.
More than 1,500 delegates from industry and research, entrepreneurs, financiers, students and mentors are expected, all with the goal to speed innovative ideas to market.
Early-bird registration ends April 9. Students get a special rate of $50. Register today at www.ocediscovery.com. Member institutions and partner organizations interested in participating in the ORION Digital Zone should contact Tamara Stoll (tamara.stoll@orion.on.ca).
