Kawartha Teaching and Technology Conference will bring together faculty, students, IT professionals and administrative staff for a one-day event to enable attendees to network, share ideas, and discover solutions to today’s challenges.

Details

The theme of this year’s Kawartha Teaching and Technology Conference is ‘Thriving in my Cyberspace’. The aim of this year’s conference is to provide attendees with the skills and confidence to:

  • thrive as educators by learning the latest techniques in teaching and learning, 
  • become aware of cybersecurity issues and techniques aimed at mitigating risk from both a user and an IT professional perspective, 
  • tackle everyday problems with technology and to become more effective at using technology.  

Alfonso Licata, President and CEO, ORION will be speaking on the closing panel “Panel: The Future of Technology in Teaching and Learning”. David Porter, CEO, eCampus Ontario and Tariq Al-idrissi, AVP IT, Trent University will also be speaking on the same panel.
